iAM Games 2025 - A Celebration of Inclusion, Participation & Community.
The 2025 iAM Games was an awesome celebration of inclusion, movement, and community here in Murihiku! This year, participants, whānau, and activity providers came together across multiple venues, including ILT Stadium Southland, Splash Palace, Hockey Southland, and Southland Cricket, for a full day of fun, laughs, and great vibes.
Everyone got stuck into a range of inclusive, adapted activities—trying new things, cheering each other on, and celebrating every win. The energy was high, the support was huge, and the smiles said it all.
We couldn’t have done it without our incredible sports and activity providers. Their expertise, passion, and dedication to creating inclusive experiences made the day possible. From planning activities to supporting participants, they were at the heart of everything that happened, and we are so grateful for their time, energy, and commitment. If you loved any sport or activity in particular and want to see more of it throughout the year, reach out to us—we’ll do our best to get something up and running.
